This summer, sixteen artists of all ages from across British Columbia are showcasing their work of a variety of mediums in ‘All Aboard: Everything Trains’, with each piece connecting to the railway and trains.
Presented within Williams Lake’s original Station House, built in 1919, ‘All Aboard: Everything Trains’ is a fitting tribute to the building’s rich railway heritage. Acknowledging the buildings historic roots while celebrating the Station House Gallery’s (Station House Studio & Gallery Society) continued role as Williams Lake’s public art gallery, proudly a part of the community since 1982.
In the upper gallery, the talented multidisciplinary artist, Caroline Anders from Wells, BC presents ‘The Winze Files: Unearthed’! Caroline shares her original artwork, reduction linocut prints, illustrated maps, character studies and visual artifacts from her folk horror book series set in the fictional mining town of Winzeford. Drawing from northern landscapes, local history and small town legends, each work revealing the people, places and mysteries behind the stories.
